Stay cool at the Zoo this August! Every Tuesday guests will receive a 25% discount admission and every Thursday the Zoo stays open until 7pm, offering live music as you stroll through the park.
Bring your own drinks & snacks because most off the vending machines are broken or empty. Also, the concession near the elephants is closed.
Chimpanzee house and the sifakas are adorable. Great kid friendly zoo. A manageable morning trip. You can see animals up close. I think it's better than the national zoo!
Visiting from texas and this zoo was not worth it. The only good part was feeding the giraffes.
On hot days, duck into the Chimpanzee Forest; it's markedly cooler in there.
Feed the giraffes for $2 - they come running and take a branch from your hand
I want to go here over the summer. I WANT TO FEED A GIRAFFE!
Watch out for the polar bears. Your kids might get an eyeful and have some questions for you....
Have fun pushing your stroller in the parking lot.
