Their estimates mean nothing to them when it comes to gunsmithing. They also take months and months (7) to do repair work and when they exceed the estimate (without authorization) they will hold your weapons hostage and threaten to sell them if you want to dispute their excessive charges. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

bought a cmmg AR-15 barrel and just bought an AR-15 a2 front sight post. every time, I've been in the store I've been greeted and asked almost immediately if I need any help. friendly staff . needed a part for my AR-15 build and the gunsmith there knew exactly what it was I needed and gave me a killer deal! No complaints here at all. I'll for sure be doing business again.

These guys completely lack in customer service. They never pick up the phone, in fact they have the phones silenced. They so don't respond to emails. And ever since the possible AR ban was announced. They have jacked up range fees 2-4$. Just plain greedy people

Avoid these Turds at all costs! Purchased an item on Gunbroker and what a horrible experience!. Within 24 hours of he auction, I faxed a copy of the FFL to the dealer. Also within 24 hours I emailed and called the dealer. However the Dealer's phone message box was full. The next day I called the Dealers "retail Rpresentative" and they said they would pass the message to the person who does online sales. I waited 2 days but still didnt get a response. I again emailed and called and left a message for them to contact me for fo... read more

Great gun shop & range I have been shooting and shopping at The Marksman for about 10 months. I started shooting handguns there and bought my first pistol there - a Springfield Armory XD9. Their excellent selection of rental guns allowed me to try many before I settled on the XD9.

I have an Springfiled XD 45 Compact 4". I went to the Marksman to find a holster for it. When I walked in I was one of 3 people in the store and yet they seemed to busy to help me. I finally had someone welcome me and ask me if I need anything. I told them what I was looking for and they showed me the 3 options they had for my gun. I decided to purchase the $72.99 leather belt holster that sits on side behind your hip on the back. I the next day I tried the holster and it was to uncomfortable for me to use. I decided to retu... read more

Get a quote before repairs are done. Apparently calling the customer BEFORE repairs are made is not the policy of Summit Arms Services. I found out the hard way. Don't assume they will call you with an estimate. The gun smith does very good work, the staff of the Marksman are not interested in you as a customer.

I don't want a 6.8 already! I went in to buy an AR/15 in 5.56. Some employee kept trying to get me to buy a 6.8. I kept telling him I don't want a 6.8. He just kept telling me how great it was and that 5.56 sucks. I probably would have bought a rifle if it was not for the 6.8 guy. And dude loosen your belt. It is way to tight! Thanks for nothing. I did end up getting a great 5.56 rifle at bulls eye.
