The lady at the desk is very rude and makes up the price on the spot. You find some little stuff without price on it, thinking it should be $10 or less. She looked at it and said this is $50. Another item was $30. This is total ripoff.

The lady at the desk today was EXTREMELY RUDE. I had found a cesca chair that was labeled 10$ as soon as i arrived. I picked it up and asked the women at the desk where i could put it on hold. She was rude and told me no one would take it and to leave in by the fire place, but didnt mention the holding area. I said i would leave it there and she gave me a nasty look. We were happy to have been introduced to Carol Walser and her service, Market House, to conduct an estate sale at our Bethesda home in fall 2021. Carol and her team conducted a four-day sale, managed the removal of items sold, and then found ways to donate what remained, so that we did not have to be involved in emptying all the we were leaving behind. It was, for us, an excellent way to lessen the emotional drain of downsizing. Our sincere thanks to Carol and her whole team!

I hired Market House in June 2019 (3 days) to help me sell a lot of things in my home. I do not recommend them. Please find yourself a different company. I think I was not paid for everything that got sold & they didn't have enough workers watching 'shoppers' in my 3 level home. They seem to have a somewhat unorganized system of price tags on items and keeping track of a sale in their notebook. 2 days before the sale, one of the owners told me that she would not be attending the sale but she would have her "A team" working. ... read more

Market House had great customer service when we were buying a patio set from their online inventory. We were unable to see the set before buying, so they provided us pictures, answered questions, and made arrangements for delivery.
