I’ve been going to Kristin for about two years now, and she is the best. She has such attention to detail, while staying committed to keeping things affordable for the clients who need it. She’s the first person who I ever trusted to highlight my hair, and she did a wonderful job with my requests. I also asked her to do my rehearsal dinner updo, and she matched my vision perfectly. I got so many compliments and it held all night! Definitely recommend Kristin and the Maplewood Beauty Bar for all your hair needs.

Amanda is incredible!!! She did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and I felt so beautiful all evening! She was great to talk to, and her work was amazing! My updo remarkably withstood hours of enthusiastic dancing/jumping around, and my makeup stayed wonderful all night - even my lipstick looked good after I ate a meal! She was so kind and did a great job of making my hair/makeup fit my style/preferences. I saw Amanda and I was not very happy with the results. The inspo pic I showed her was a natural looking cool blonde balayage but I ended up with roots like this, looking really choppy and unnatural. It looks like a lot of the foils left different spaces between root and blonde. I didn’t notice the roots were bad until I got home and took this picture, so in their defense I didn’t give them a chance to fix it.
