Before Super 8's and interstates there were cozy places like The Maples. It's a true slice of Americana. Set on a beautiful garden property, the cabins have a small porch, and a comfortable room with a bathroom. My cabin was spotlessly clean and comfortable. But what makes The Maples stand out is the owner Linda. She made me feel at home and like part of her family. Linda is a kindred spirit!
It is what it is. And if what you are looking for is a homey, down-to-earth, no extra frills or pretense place to relax and feel at home in--this will suit you. Quaintly decorated: affordable: the owner is a sweet lady...nice to share chats with
You won’t regret staying at these adorable sleepy cabins with the sweetest host. Our anniversary getaway to ME was cancelled due to an ailing sitter, however we were lucky enough to encounter Linda of The Maples for a impromptu staycation nearby. The cottage style cabin is cozy as they come. The floral gardens around the property make for a peaceful natural landscape with birds serenading you as you wake up and wind down.
