Orcas Island is a favorite of ours. We visit at least once a year in February as a break from the winter weather at home. Most trips, we visit Rosario and the Mansion, because it is such a beautifuland historic spot. The Mansion changed hands a few years ago and another sale has just been completed. We are hopeful that will bring it back to the 5 star restaurant it should be. Just stopped by and visited the amazing museum upstairs Stop by! Resturant and spa were closed when we were here
AMAZING food. Without a doubt the best burger I've ever had.
We booked dinner for two during New Year's Eve. It turned out the night was buffet only, which was a surprise. The buffet was limited and the food quality was not great with most meat entrees being dry or over cooked. The meal ended up costing $250 for two with a mandatory 20% tip for a self-service buffet. We were not impressed.
