I booked the Mansion for my bridal portraits. The venue was gorgeous, hence three stars. However, as someone who worked in customer service for 6 years and in administration for 2, I seem to know some things about service and coordinating that Julie doesn't. If I could leave zero stars I would. I called to get some information about their options and packages and I mentioned that I would be marrying a woman. The lady I spoke to said to me “Wedding vows are very important to me as I’m sure they are to you. I do not support that and I would be there the entire day so….” I thanked her and hung up. Texas Rock n Rose Wedding Photography had the honor of photographing Steven and Griselda’s wedding in February 2026 at The Mansion at ColoVista, and it was such a beautiful venue to work in. From the scenic outdoor views to the elegant indoor spaces, every part of the property photographed so well and gave the day such a romantic, timeless feel. My sister got married at the mansion in January and it totally exceeded our expectations! The venue is beautiful and has some jaw dropping views. Everything was so awesome and the whole event went off without any bump or snags thanks to Julie, Bobby, and all the staff at the mansion. Thank you all so much!!!
This venue is beautiful to say the least. If you are looking for a quite spot with breathtaking views this is the spot for you. The mansion itself has a whole wing dedicated to the bridal suite. The upstairs for the groom and his men. They have cottages so family and friends can stay the weekend and celebrate. The golf course is a nice perk to have right next to mansion. The owner, coordinator and their staff are so accommodating, helpful, prompt, and smooth. Truly a 5 out of 5 stars.
