What a pleasure it was to have the chance to get away and unplug at Shannon and Mitch's hideaway. The place was very clean, warm and welcoming. We enjoyed some classic old tunes while cooking and the kids enjoyed the endless board games and fooseball. Another treat was having the hot tub to enjoy before a nice movie by the fire...The surrounding area is so peacefull, a short walk and you can enjoy the nature and river. Hi everyone I am going to give this hideaway full marks and just let you know I had a 15 minute drive to manning park ski resort from this location! Absolutely a beautiful situation for anyone looking to get away for some winter skiing and snowboarding manning always has excellent conditions fresh snow all the time . Such a great a experience for a quick get away, it's warm, comfortable and inviting. The area is very quiet truly feels like a hideaway. We hope to visit again soon!!
Exceeded expectations. The cottage is beautifully decorated with rustic accents that enhance the experience of a nature get away. Loved taking strolls down to the picturesque river setting and the hosts are awesome- provided anything you could imagine you might need as well finding little extras left just for us!
