I had my haircut with JD Martinez and was disappointed with the experience. The final price came out to $51, which I found excessive for the service provided. During the haircut, a hair wash was added, but at no point was I informed that it would result in additional charges. Customers should be told about any extra costs before services are performed. I don’t know why you post that walk ins are welcome. I dropped my disabled husband off at 10 am and came back around 11:15 am and he was still waiting, told that he could maybe be helped at 12:30 pm. That’s not walk in service.
I won't be going back. After my haircut and goatee trim, the barber that attended to me gave me his phone for me to swipe my card and pay. The tip options started at 30%. It went from 30 - 40 -50. I tipped 30 because I couldn't find the other option and it came to over $60, for an OK haircut and trim. Then, this is the kicker, I get home and get a charge on my card that I was a no show and then was charged an extra 40 dollars for not showing up.
