I would give NEGATIVE stars if possible. Booking here means putting your life SAFETY at risk. My family was locked outside in the dark around midnight on check-in day, with no one answering multiple phone lines for almost 90 minutes. The day before arrival, the property manager messaged via Expedia, "We will send you your room number and the lockbox code on the day of arrival before 3pm." That never happened. The Mammoth Inn is very easy to find and in a convenient location. Our room was neat and clean with plenty of space to rest suitcases and bags. They thoughtfully stocked the toiletries and continental breakfast items. I was very pleased with the selection of items which included packaged cereals, breakfast bars, pastries and more. It was very convenient especially to take on the go for our hikes. Thank you for the wonderful amenities. We would stay here again.

Right in the center of Mammoth between old town and new in the heart of the Mexican district. So, I could walk easily to restaurants and stores as well as drive anywhere else in Mammoth in under 10 minutes. The rooms are total old school style, with a physical key and everything yet nicely well kept. Feels like what staying in Mammoth back in the 80s would have been like but with a modern TV.
