We do not leave reviews often so please read...My husband and I came to Mammoth Lakes for the first time for our anniversary, to relax and just get away from the stress of everyday life. We booked Mammoth Creek Inn solely based on the excellent reviews. Everything POSITIVE said is the ABSOLUTE truth! The cleanliness, comfort and location is terrific! The front desk was really helpful. There was someone manning the desk always. The rooms are spacious and clean. The additional facilities like Spa/Jacuzzi was a really nice touch. They were really well maintained as well.
The location was great, and many businesses were within walking distance. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for air conditioning during the summer months however, make sure you book a room in the "Sierra House" portion of the hotel.
Location in town, next to bowling alley bar, some noise at night but not bad. The Sierra house offers view of the mountains and it has an elevator and air-conditioning. Staff are very nice and helpful.
