After Ulta couldn’t find my appointment that I booked a month in advance, I came across the Makeup Institute online, called in a panic, Derriean picked up and fit me in immediately! Derriean was beyond patient, kind, friendly and talented! My makeup looked amazing! I highly recommend the Makeup Institute to anyone looking to get their makeup or any service done! I will absolutely be back!

The receptionist and my make up artist were nice. Didn’t love the makeup. It looked okay initially under the makeup studio lighting, but when I went out in natural light I saw that the foundation/contouring was very orange for my skin tone.
I had an amazing experience with this makeup school. I was able to get my license through their program on a scholarship, and I’m so grateful for that opportunity. Not only did they teach me the skills I needed, but they also helped me build my confidence in the makeup industry. The support and encouragement I received made a huge difference in my journey. I truly appreciate everything they’ve done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get into the beauty industry.
The site to make make my appointment was easy to navigate. I scheduled my service for a very busy Valentine’s Day.. I ask for soft glam and Marshe over delivered. My makeup up was light feeling, lasted the entire day and night with very minimal touch ups. When I say minimal I mean I literally put a touch of lipstick on my inner lip is all. I had no shine smudges just a flawless face!!
