I’ve called multiple times about their services, sent DMs, with no replies. Their booking website is down. Zero communication on their website or social media. They seem to be permanently closed.
Paid deposit, then months of silence. My fiancée and I booked The Makeup Bar (Rocklin) in July 2025 for our mid-2026 wedding and paid just under $3,000 upfront. Since then, communication has effectively stopped. Booked for a wedding in May and emailed in November to ask a question, and have not heard anything back. Called, emailed, texted, and messaged on social media for months. No response. I then tried to cancel my contract as I am worried they may no show or not respond at all, with again no response. Do not book-avoid at all cost.
As someone who's both sat in their chairs AND photographed countless clients after their appointments here, I can't say enough good things! What makes them amazing: -Their work photographs beautifully -Best prices in town (seriously, unbeatable value) -Super convenient online booking -Professional and fun atmosphere Give them a try and take the stress out of an event or photoshoot. Trust me—your future self will thank you!
Shyanne was AMAZING! I called her a makeup magician because no one has ever done my makeup so flawlessly. She's also got a fantastic personality and was easy to talk to. My 90 minute appointment felt like no time at all.
