Part beauty cornucopia, part esoteric haven. Came for a tarot reading. Not sure I’m a convert but definitely an intriguing experience. Kody has such a welcoming, kind energy—5 stars. This is the kind of store where you go in and want to buy everything, not because you need it…but you need it. Love that they offer classic MUA staples as well as fun, vivid pigments!
I had a one on one feature focus lesson with Melanie and learned a lot. She gave me lots of tips and tricks to play with my look and taught me what I needed to know to go home and continue working on technique. Very pleasant session and amazing quality products through the store.
10/10 experience at Makeup Altar! The atmosphere was very welcoming and chill. Melanie absolutely killed my makeup. I have pretty sensitive, inflamed skin with cystic acne, and somehow my makeup looked flawless without feeling heavy or uncomfortable at all. The other artists there were amazing too, and the whole experience honestly had such fun party vibes. Between the makeup, crystals, and champagne, the vibes were immaculate. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking to get your makeup done in Nashville!
I got my hair and makeup done at the Makeup Altar and would 100% recommend this experience to anybody! I felt so glam and beautiful, and had so much fun in the chair. The whole process was enjoyable—they frequently checked in to make sure I was loving the process, and did not make me feel bad when I wanted something adjusted!
