Over the period, it was sold several times and suffered from neglect, it was finally restored by the Majors Inn Foundation Inc. Absolutely beautiful and charming building. I highly recommend attending or hosting an event here. I had my wedding here in September '24 and it was just perfect. The people who manage the inn are so kind and accommodating. 10/10.
I had always dreamt of getting married at the Major's Inn just on the look of the exterior, and Cecelia was incredibly helpful when my husband and I had come to view the venue. She worked with us on any questions we had and was incredibly patient and kind throughout the experience of working with her to ensure set-up and clean up was a breeze, she even gave us a detailed packet that included table size options, china rental options, mantle lengths for decor, and a list of vendors who've worked on site prior that have great e... read more

Our annual event here has been the highlight of the year for many years.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I called to tour the venue for my wedding. The woman I spoke to was pretty rude and unfriendly. When talking about what day to do the tour I asked what day worked best for her and she snapped “ I’m not there all the time so you’re going to have to pick a time.” After deciding on a day and time my Fiancé and I drove over and hour away to the house and she never showed up to our appointment.
