Magnolia Thomas Restaurant is elegant. A quaint little restaurant in a beautiful setting. I really enjoyed their green tomatoes, the georgia pecan river trout, and asparagus. Reasonably priced fine cuisine.
My family and I had the worst pre fix turkey dinner in our lives; the soup was served with a tea spoon, the waiter was clueless and the "kettle fried" turkey looked and tasted like smoked turkey loaf.The accompaniments were right out of a typical nursing home meal with one teaspoon of cranberry sauce and diced sweet potato. TWO THUMBS DOWN
A Winner Overall!!! – Dining at The Magnolia Thomas House was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I would give the food, the ambiance, and the incredible staff 5 stars! As you enter the restaurant, you are warmly greeted, dark wooden floors lay before you, the tables are all neatly set and candles provide a warm atmosphere. Great night out in Woodstock – This was a wonderful night out close to home. Able to have a 5 star dinner without the drive to Atlanta! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcomed. The service was superb, and the wine list was notable. We started with shrimp and grits and ended with a fried snickers. Everything in between was phenomenal! This is an absolute "must try" for everyone in Northwest Metro.

Very Impressed - A Must Try! – I live in Woodstock and had driven by the Magnolia Thomas several times and thought it would be a boring, Southern restaurant w/ antiques on the walls. Shows what I know, because I had dinner there this past Saturday night and was impressed to find it was nothing like I thought it would be.
