We hosted our intimate wedding at Lytle House and had a wonderful experience with them from start to finish. We knew that we wanted to have a smaller wedding but found that most venues were built for 100+ guests which would have felt too big for our group of 50ish. We toured Lytle House and immediately saw how unique this venue is - it feels like a secret garden tucked away in a private corner of Chicago. i attended this venue this weekend for a baby shower. the venue host was extremely nasty and rude. i walked up to her to ask a question, before i could get a word out she says “if it’s about the food i can’t help you” overall the venue is cute but the customer service was poor. we all felt like we were being watched like a hawk and then if we had questions the response back was rude.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the Lytle House. Michelle and Robyn were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to help decorate the space so everything looked seamless and beautiful. The venue had everything we needed, including easy music connections and a fridge to keep drinks and food chilled, which made hosting so much easier. We had the BEST experience at The Lytle House! The venue is gorgeous and has such a cool, intimate vibe. The staff was so kind and helpful — they truly made everything stress-free. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the space.
I recently had my 70 person wedding at the Lytle House and I could not recommend this venue enough! Michelle and Robyn, are so great to work with. They created the most beautiful and intimate space. I was at ease through the entire planning process thanks to them. Our guests could not stop raving about the venue! Such a great experience working with The Lytle House - wish I could repeat the day!
