Not only are they incredibly talented at what they do, but they are also just genuinely kind and calming people to have around - exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding day. Working with The Luminous Mirage was such a thorough and individualized process. They are very organized and prepared. Before even meeting with me, they asked me lots of questions about my personal make up and hair preferences and habits, and that of my bridesmaids as well. They didn't make me feel bad for being sort of make-up naive, and I felt and looked beautiful on my wedding day. The Luminous Bride made my wedding day that much more amazing. Courtney and Jules were a dream to work with and made me and my girls look seriously fantastic. I am not a makeup person and Courtney really LISTENS while also providing little tidbits about what she's doing and why she's doing it. She made us all look effortlessly glamorous and Catskill chic. I am serious when I say I won't use another makeup artist for any of my makeup needs - this is the place people!!!!

Jules and her team were amazing! They did hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, my sister-in-law, and both moms, and everyone looked SO good! I asked for a natural look, and they totally nailed it. I still felt like myself, just the best version. My husband (who doesn't like a lot of makeup) thought it looked great also! Shout out to Rosie for my day of makeup and Maryanna for my hair! To put it simply, Jules is absolutely incredible. When considering multiple makeup artists for my wedding day, it was hard to find someone that not only listened but also gave great recommendations on how to prep before the day of and which shades/colors would like the best with a fair skin tone. Jules made me feel so beautiful, calmed my nerves the day of and made sure I loved every color, shade and style of the makeup.
