This was the most disappointing bed and breakfast my family and I have ever visited. When we approached the door, it had to be opened by the innkeeper, who never introduced himself, and was so unpleasant we thought he was an out of sorts guest at first. While checking us in, the owner Joel was very quiet and made us feel uncomfortable with his silence. His strange demeanor was enough for us to already have regrets about our stay, however, this was just the tip of the smelly iceberg. This bed and breakfast has the worst odor ... read more

The house was beautiful. The staff was helpful and quick to answer any question. Breakfast the next morning was freshly made. I would love to stay here again.

No one had any paranormal activity there?? Does anyone knows that it was a place for murders?

Stopped by the Lumber Baron Inn for afternoon tea and had an incredible time! The inn was beautiful with vintage pieces and a welcoming atmosphere. The tea was delicious but the food stole the show. Everything was freshly made or baked with the best ingredients. Their “better than brownie” cookies may be the best dessert I’ve ever had. If you haven’t booked an afternoon tea with them yet it is a must try!

This was such a charming and beautiful house. We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was simple and quick. The room was clean and had antique furniture and items that really added to experience. You can spend a long time just looking at the woodwork and the fancy wallpaper through out the room. It felt like we were stepping back in time and staying in the early 1900s but with enough modern amenities to be very comfortable. Breakfast was incredible. The food tasted great. It was an incredible experience.
