I’ve been going to Shiralyns class twice a week since around my 16th week of pregnancy. I look forward to these classes and have already learned so much about breathing and pelvic floor work. The class is challenging and fun, she’s the best, highly recommend!!
TLM was exactly what I needed for my first prenatal journey. I knew it was time to modify my pre pregnancy workouts and TLM provided a safe and welcoming community to continue to strength train and prep for birth at the same time. I took small group classes and privates with Shiralyn, who is awesome. I’m even being supported post delivery and I’m looking forward to getting back in the studio for post natal workouts once I’m cleared.
I absolutely love taking classes with Shiralyn! She brings such a positive vibe and gives clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The workouts are beginner-friendly but still focused on strengthening the pelvic floor and incorporating breathing techniques that are super helpful for labor prep. The space and equipment at the UWS location are also great—you really just have to show up!
I started working with Lane when I was about 12 weeks pregnant, and we worked together 1:1 and via group classes about 2x a week up until 39 weeks when I gave birth! Before getting pregnant I never exercised much, but was motivated to stay fit for the baby and to have smoother pregnancy and delivery. Lane has been wonderful to work with throughout my pregnancy! It's been helpful to have guidance on working out safely while pregnant, it is definitely different esp as you get to be veryyyy pregnant, and I love that they exclusively focus on prenatal/postpartum. Their other recommendations for things like pelvic floor PT have been great too. I look forward to getting my core back in shape with Lane after I have my baby :)
