ONE OF THE OLDEST! I first experienced the locally owned (and Tucson Originals member) Lotus Garden in the mid to late 1970's Then it had the usual red lanterns and dragons that was so prevalent in most Chinese restaurants of the day. It now has a more modern interior and absolutely great gift and spirit shop. The food is always top notch--many of the old traditional Cantonese dishes mixed in with great Szeshuan as well some very innovative fare. Chinese I love this place. Everyone is so nice and the food is outstanding. I like the terryaki chicken myself but there is a variety of great dishes. I also love getting gift cards from here because its such a great place.
Try anything, you won't be sorry! As though good food weren't enough... and there is a lot of that, my fav is the beef wonton soup, or the sesame chicken... they have a great selection of wine and other spirits. Great place to pick up presents for the holidays, or stock up on your favorite vintage year! great hodgepodge of stuff to choose from.
