My wife was sent here involuntarily from Stonybrook for delusion disorder. She spent 12 days there and says she never saw a physchiatrist. She was discharged after 12 days with worse delusions than she had when she got there. No follow up instructions, no therapy scheduled and no medication prescribed. Biggest waste of time. Now we have to start all over again and try to find her help. What was the reason for sending her there? This is the most irresponsible and rude faculty I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After waiting 2 months for an appointment it was cancelled the week before with them saying our insurance does not cover out patient care, which it does, and there was nothing they can do about it unless we wanted to pay cash.
