We had a great stay for the Christmas fun at SDC. The location is wonderful if SDC is your destination or just want to be away from all the noise of Branson. The communication via text was great for us and everything worked very well in that area. The set-up has the rooms with the balconies entering from the front of the motor lodge with the other rooms around the back similar to a walk out basement. Nice and clean rooms close to Silver Dollar City.
Pros: nice location, great water pressure, nice renovated old motor lodge, bathroom fan moves a lot of air. Cons: the bed was so worn out and soft, it felt like you were falling into a black hole with out any hope of getting out. They tried to hide the bad bed with a 2" foam topper, which just made matters worse. Also, with great air movement in the bathroom, comes very high noise. It was measured at over 100db. Overall, the bed makes this a place to avoid the void.
Location was great for us to meet up with family who had a house at Table Rock. There were a couple of things that I made management aware of and they were immediate to react. The rooms are very nice with nice blankets, pillows, etc. The bed mattresses were too soft and were hot to sleep in is my biggest complaint.. Virtual check in process is great! Parking lot is brand new and painted. Right next to a grocery store with food, drinks, etc. which made it even easier.
A very clean room with a comfy bed. Good value.
