I had a birthday party event on 1/20. While the event space was nice... the staff was very unprofessional. At the end of the night, I had to load some decorations into my car... an employee offered to help load. Keep in mind the event ended at midnight, so all the guests had left and it was only enployees left and doors to Chelsea piers are locked. While I moved my car and came back, the decorations along with some birthday gifts were taken. (Stolen)... again only employees happened to be there aside from my immediate family... read more

The Loft sits inside the Chelsea Piers Connecticut sports complex, but can work either as a stand-alone event space (sit-down dinners, corporate meetings, bar/bat mitzvahs) or in combination with sports activities (team building, teen dance parties). Super flexible space; Great Performances, a fantastic NYC-based caterer, does the food. I attended a Chelsea Piers member party there the other day - really nice space!
