The food and cocktails were pretty average — nothing particularly memorable. Despite that, the prices were quite high since it is located in central park. A bit of a touristy, there are definitely better-value spots around
I personally think it’s better to eat inside. It’s more of a Boathouse experience. Eating outside isn’t as classy and there’s always lots of screaming entitled kids to deal with. I suspect more New Yorkers eat inside and more tourists eat outside.
An absolute must if your visiting Manhattan. Our 3rd time here over the last 30 years, great location super staff. Although pre-bookibg was a bit of a pain
