It seems this place is unofficially operating until a tear-down? It’s a bummer to tear it down because it’s a vintage motor lodge!! Which actually seem to be popular when renovated a little. Great location. Lower cost than everything else in town. Mattresses were comfy but probably old. Carpet super old. Clean and everything worked in our rooms, but a hodge podge of decor / furniture gives it a dorm room feel. Stay away from this place, nothing works, no tv no ac , I asked if they can fix the TV and they never showed up just they don't care about anything. This is a ripoff . Dirty room almost everything is broken..
The only plus side to this motel is the location and outside lawn area. It is overpriced for a run down motel. They should not be charging as much as they do a night but they can because it's bearlake and they will always have business because they are cheaper then most and have availability...there is a reason for that! Maintenance do better. A house keeper can clean her best but it will still look and feel run down and dirty because of the Maintenance issues. Which are a lot! The only place to stay in town. Cold room the heating barely warmed up. Stinky beds. (From been so old.) Tiny shower. If you have a choice Do not stay here.
