Enjoyable and relaxing overnight stay at the Riverside. Room was a great size. Well looked after and clean. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our complimentary wine and nibbles. Just helped you relax. Breakfast was great. Recommend the Apple Cinnamon waffles. Also staff baked apple bread loafs which were so tasty. Really good. Easy access to the Taprock restaurant across the street. Definitely recommend.

Cheryl at the front desk is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The pool is so nice. The wine and cheese reception at happy hour is so good. Love the fresh baked cookies and cold milk at 7pm. Rooms are clean. Beds are so comfortable....make sure you order the mimosas for the next morning. A great place to stay before doing the Hellgate Brunch!

This was an interesting place which checked some of our key boxes but there were areas for investment. Why we went there and the pros: - location (close to start of a rafting trip the next day) - pool (although we did not use) - large rooms - price (highest in the area, but cheap relative to large cities) - air conditioning worked, which was great in this 100+ degree day in August - front desk reps were very kind and helpful - free house wine and cheese in the pm, free basic breakfast Some considerations / areas to work on: ... read more

We got a two queen bed room. The good thing is that it was nice and cool and they allowed us to check in early. The bad thing was it was only semi-clean. Some cleaning was done but if you moved anything (like in the bathroom) there was dust underneath. Beds were made though and looked fresh. There was stuff in the fridge from previous guests though. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a pretty standard continental breakfast. It's not a bad place to stay. Just not the best.
