The only thing good about this “lodge “ is the location. Although I had to laugh when they said will give us a “valley/Mountain View,” but it ended up being a view of Route 16. The first thing I noticed upon walking in the room is that it smelled like a stale foot locker and wet dog. This hotel does allow animals, and they are not cleaning up after them, and I could smell the scent of them. Unacceptable. Loved it here! The building is old and a bit dated but that’s not an issue for me, and they take wonderful care of the place. It’s very clean. The yard is so beautiful gorgeous plants and landscaping which I believe is done by the owner. They serve a little breakfast in the morning and are on top of maintaining it. Super quiet and great spot for your family at any time of the year! Very nice owners who are very present and it just felt like a safe and comfortable space.

Rooms were clean,whole place smelled super fresh, owners were very kind,breakfast had great options and kids loved their waffles. Less than14 miles from Mt Washington, this lodge and its grounds are very well kept, their beds were super comfortable and allowed us a great night's sleep. It was a great deal and we will consider it for our next White Mountains getaway.
