No toilet seat lid, no chair in room to sit on, location is away from anything, exterior of building needs a lot of TLC. Room was clean, but that was the only plus.
hands down flat out the best in the area. staff knows how to be very helpful AND also go unoticed. that is a gr8 combo. super clean. the walk to the Bike Path and Beyond is literally a stones throw and the infinite view down the valley is enough to take you all the Home. Highly recommend! p. s. chocolate muffins are yummy
Room was clean but missing a do not disturb sign. We stayed for 5 days and housekeeping never came. Staff were very nice but other reviews are right: staff often say they don’t know when asked questions- but it’s a student run facility so we understood. The bar staff were amazing- but unfortunate the bars only open Wednesday through Saturday night (but again, understood with it being student run I just wish the bar hours were posted on the website!) The hotel was really nice! Clean, comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast. The location is also convenient - I definitely recommend it for a comfortable stay!
I stopped in with my daughter and Mom after taking my daughter to explore Hocking College. We love visiting state parks and the lodge was just renovated in 2022. The restaurant is great and it views are gorgeous. We took shelter from a thunder storm and ended up joining in on some of their activities. Gracie was the absolute sweetest, we made trail mix with her, bracelets, and then explored the lodge with a scavenger hunt paper she gave us. It was so much fun and we enjoyed it!
