Entered facility to check in. No staff behind counter to greet us and very outdated lobby. Hotel staff unfriendly/not welcoming. Phones in rooms didn't work to contact front desk. Called from cell phone to let them know TV was not working and they hung up on me. When TV was finally restored found out they have no golf channel at a golf resort! Maids never showed up to clean room or provide fresh towels. Food is excellent but small details need improvement. No sugar free coffee creamer or syrup. No spoons to stir coffee. Golf... read more
Came on a golf package. Although we did not pay much, I'd rather pay a little more and have a ok place to stay. Very primitive, carpets were dark old gross. I burn where someone placed an iron on the carpet. Bathroom door had a hole punched in, the doors were the cheapest doors I've ever seen. They could replace the door even with another $20 door. Four of us bought the golf pkg ..1 night and 2 rounds of golf. Golf was great. Courses well maintained and friendly staff. The resort is in an absolutely gorgeous setting. No one was ever at the desk in the lobby both times, checking in and out, I had to peak around a door to find someone. The person didn’t understand English very well and didn’t understand that I was asking for a printed receipt. The lobby and the rooms are dated but very, very clean. The TV did not work in our room.
