An amazing getaway! The Lodge at Bodega Bay was the perfect place to relax. Our room was spotless and so comfortable, check-in was smooth and welcoming, and in-room dining was excellent. The housekeeping team went above and beyond — so kind and helpful, even in the rain. It’s easy to see why this is the number one hotel.
Beautiful estate with a classic charm. The spa is heavenly, and the golf course is top-notch. Exceptional service throughout our stay.
The grounds are well maintained and the view is nice. But I have better views from my house. The restaurant service is hit or miss. Some staff were wonderful, but one woman was horrendous with a serious chip on her shoulder. The rooms are dated and the room temperature cannot be adequately controlled. Do not believe these reviews or the article about it being a spectacular place. Then again, I suppose everything is relative. If you normally stay at motel 6, this place might be a step up.
Make sure you get yourself an upstairs room. The views is cool and the whole area of the atmosphere is very relaxing. My room didn't come but the microwave but I'm assuming that's because most of the area only sells seafood. Also we didn't realize this till we showered but the carpets are filthy and your feet get dirty puke you've been walking on the street al day.
