The Lodge at Black Rapids is truly one of the best places to decompress and be one with nature and away from the rest of the world. Annie, the owner, and the rest of her team, have a wonderful warmth and air of hospitality to them that is just so sweet and so loving that makes you want to stay for longer. While we only stayed for two nights, we had some delicious meals made by Annie herself that were absolutely scrumptious. Hard to beat fantastic food, a fascinating lodge with tons of great books everywhere, and waking up to the sight of the Alaska range right out the window. Our only comment is that it would be great to have some light self-serve breakfast options available for early risers (muffins, bagels, etc), followed by the full breakfast at 9am. Thanks for a great stay!
