I visited a resident and saw that this facility is elegant and the staff were very pleasant, and it appears to be well staffed. The menu in the dining room was amazing - quite a lot of choices.
I have been coming to the Balfour Retirement Center for over 20 years, to lead a Worship Service for your Memory Care residents. I have been welcomed by all of the residents very warmly.
A lawsuit would be more appropriate than a 1-star review.
I moved my uncle here when he found out he was terminally ill. The facility is beautiful, the staff friendly & helpful, and the food good. The other residents were friendly & welcoming. Better yet, when he needed more care, staff worked with me to move him to skilled nursing within 24 hours. Shout out to staff member Andria Lyles who made us feel like family and always went out of her way to help us when we needed it - even when she wasn't working and even when she was away on vacation!
