A uniquely woodsy downtown place to escape the world. – The Scene Unlike many of the self-conscious, goofy neighbors around Division Street, its lacquered wood and hunting lodge concept is comforting more than obnoxious. great atmosphere – this bars is a great place to take your friends for a drink and talk. tired of the bar scene this bar releave so of that tension. plus if you enjoy the oldied played on an old jukebox play old 45's this is the place for you

A Chicago Classic – The Lodge has been around for something like 30 years and is amazingly tucked into Division Street - probably the most uninteresting area in Chicago. But, this bar is and will always be my favorite - the juke box cranks out oldies that all the drunks belt out late at night. It's almost always packed and believe it or not, you'll probably see tons of celebrities and athletes hanging out. I love the peanuts and the atmosphere. It's a late closer - awesome! It's like a secret jewel.
