I’ve been to the Downtown AVL shop a few times, but the new West Asheville location is perfect for me. Antoine cut my son’s hair and Ian did a great job with mine. Plus there’s a small bar! Definitely recommend.

Really good cuts and beard trims, great vibe, could folks that work there, definitely book online, although they do take walkins.

I've been going to the Local Barber & Tap's downtown location for over a year now. I've had multiple barbers cut my hair/trim my beard and have never gotten a bad haircut. I recently moved closer to the West Asheville location and have been getting my hair cut there for the past few months - same great service! Joe has cut my hair and trimmed up my beard during my past couple of visits and is great! As long as I live in Asheville I'll never get my hair cut anywhere else!

It was my first experience with a barber shop and a masculine haircut. Joe was phenomenal. He was kind, patient and listened to what I wanted every step of the way! I cannot wait to go back for my trim! Thank you, Joe!

Just got cut. Joe is awesome. Super friendly and does an excellent job. Probably the best cut I’ve gotten. He had a full schedule (I can see why) but it never felt like he was rushing or trying to get me out of the chair. Thank you, Joe!
