i don't get it i am sorry to offend but to tell you the truth i don't get the facination with the lobster house. the portions are small, the wait is just ridiculous, and the staff could careless if you came back or not. i will say the view is the best you can get but if you are outside now you are limited on what you can order? someone please explain the facination with this tourist trap.
Cape May Signature Restaurant If you like great seafood at a fair price, LH is best. scallops, uniquely Cape May. always good ... wait staff is professional but not overboard. if you can sit at the diner, its that same food with diner style.... if you want a she-she dining experience this is not for you... is a throwback to the 60s and well worth it..... a must if you are there for a week
Lobster House A wonderful place to either buy fish or dine in.They also have fish cooked for take out.We visit every time we are in Wildwood, twice each year.Make it a point to visit.
very fresh The seafood is very fresh. It's a great place, whether with kids or the "crew". There is usually a long wait because it's good!! We have been going here for years.
Good food This is good food but to me it seems like a glorified Red Lobster. The wait is usally horrendous, although you can sit on the dock and order food from a window which makes it better. Try the chodwer and soft shell crab sandwiches.
Delicious!!! This had to be the most excellent seafood that I have ever had the pleasure on which to dine. The food was so fresh and tasty, that it was as if the fisherman on the boats had gone out within the hour of our arrival, pulled up to the restaurant and unloaded the food to be prepared at that very moment it was served! I had the pleasure of having Broiled lobster tail with drawn butter and a myriad of house veggies with house salad and it was to die for! Good Lobster Bisque Though the Lobster house had been televised as a great seafood restaurant, I think it was just OK. There is usually a tremedously long wait, even though one called and made reservations. Service is OK, nothing grand. Dishes on the menu are nothing much to write home about. Prices are reasonable for what your getting. The fish are fresh and there is a fish market on premises. Your better off to pick up the take out and eat at home.
