For anyone considering seeing Professor Delrivière and his liver team, I would highly recommend them. My husband was under Professor Delrivière's care for the entirety of 2023 due to cholangiocarcinoma. Every step of the way there was thorough communication about all options, procedures and risks that may occur. We were never left in doubt and were comforted by Prof's professionalism and directness. Skilled surgeons. But communication and management of procedures is EXTREMELY poor. I had a morning surgery and was advised that although it requires a night booking just in case, that I would be released during the day as many Hernia patients do when they go smoothly. Instead I was left to ask, check with every staff member to the point they had to call the surgeon to get info from him. I had no idea if they put the implant the end. The surgeon never checked back with me or even explained the outcome of my surgery.... Inste... read more
