Shocking experience. Was asked to provide a 5 star review by the manager in order to get a refund which was agreed in writing and then never heard from the manager or the host again. Stay away. 0 stars should be an option.
We stayed here over the weekend as my partner surprised me to get away, this is in a beautiful location and the house is very cute.. however.. so many problems I don’t even know where to start. The place was that dusty my allergies were really bad and now taking steroid medication to calm my skin down. We have just arrived and the cottage is beautiful! Very clean and homey. A loaf of bread was left for us along with some coke meats, tomato, milk and butter. Very nice little touch. Looking forward to spending the night here!
We booked this bnb to stay in, but then lockdown happened. We were promised that we could change the date of our stay if a lockdown happened. Instead Regina took our money and let the booking "complete" in the Stayz system, when we hadn't actually stayed there. We ended up going to VCAT to request a refund, as she avoided all communication from us to rearrange the stay. She finally agreed to pay us a full refund. I booked this Airbnb back in July, we were super excited to do something on our long weekend & to just relax. Well when we got to the Airbnb something didn’t seem right, there was dishes in the sink, wet towels hanging up & a bed that hadn’t been made. I called Regina with no answer, I wrote to her through air bnb & got a response straight away which was great.
