This is a very comfortable, family friendly restaurant. The food is delicious and freshly made. Portions are huge and reasonable priced. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They take great care to check in often to make sure everything is to your liking. There is also some amazing artwork on the walls and throughout the establishment.
My experience at the little kitchen today was very disappointing, I’ve dined here several times before and have always had a good experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. The fish I was served was both burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside, making it inedible. What made the situation worse was the lack of accommodation from the staff when I brought it to their attention. Our server was extremely attentive, our food came out exactly as we asked, and they covered our appetizer for my buddy since it was his birthday. The prices were honestly some of the best ive seen in the state, and the food was made with love and care. The onion rings are very thick, double breaded, and delicious, and the jalapeño poppers were incredible too. Quaint local restaurant with delicious breakfast options. Service was great and had a "where the locals go" ambience. Recommend the grits bowl and the omelets!
