Holy smokes this place is amazing. First bite into your sandwich and you know you made the right call for lunch.. Got myself the polo melt as it was a food truck favourite and it exceeded all my expectations.. fresh ingredients, fresh bread.. mmm can’t go wrong Staff were great, super friendly and caring. Will 100% be back to try the rest of this menu. (No photos.. ate it way too quick)
I rented The Little Eggplant food truck for a private event. Fil helped me design a menu for approx 35 guests consisting of 4 different sandwiches, Italian sodas and pineapple cheesecake or tiramisu for dessert. The food was awesome and he provided great service. My guests raved about the entire experience and I thought it was a great value for the amount charged. Best sandwich ever , drinks are fantastic! Highly recommended.
No other sandwich shop can even come close. This place is beyond amazing. The owner must be some kind of Sandwich Magician because I don't know how he packs such flavour into his sandwiches. My go-to is usually the Italiano and the Silcilino but yesterday I tried out the A-Nita Meatball and OMG it had to be the best Meatball Sandwich I've ever had! I can't even explain how good this food is, it's like your Mouth is having an orgasm. YES, IT'S THAT GOOD!
Finally had a chance to try The Little Eggplant. Ordered the Giardino (vegetarian) and the Mortadella Caldo. Both were delicious, but the Giardino flavours were quite memorable especially for a vegetarian option. Minimal seating (4 in resturant, two tables outside). Service was great, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
