If I could leave a zero rating I would. Friday 7th March 2025 I rang as my 85 year old dad had suffered breathlessness earlier in the week, and Thursday his chest was wheezing. I rang the surgery, 1st time 20 minute wait and still no answer. When I did get through they had no appointments. Rang 111 Was told to go to Island Street walk in. We drove there, car park was full, no pay machines just a pay App, 3-4 hour wait. Came home straight away. Rang GP again. Service is absolutely shocking you can’t get an appointment on Mondays full stop due to being told there catching up on emails. The receptionist believes she’s a surgeon but her only answer is call 111 because she’s clueless. We ended up taking a very poorly 4 year old private even though we pay for the nhs service I have never dealt with such rude individuals on a reception in my life. And to make a complaint they tell you to write a letter and leave it with them to evaluate.
I have left Linden to find out by my NEW Doctors that I’m a year late for my Celiac yearly blood test and also late for my SMEAR test !! Could never get through and would not even issue me a blood test to make sure my recent infection had cleared up after being admitted in hospital TWICE and anti biotics both times !! They never updated my 6 year old son’s EPILEPSY medication leaving me unable to order more !! Also would not give my 15 year old Daughter an appointment for her mental health. Shut the place down. Absolutely appalling. My elderly mother was ignored and not offered any appointment whatsoever.
Impossible to get through the phone.
