Retro-themed motel with surf vibes. Loved the turquoise accents in our room. Pool area with lawn games and outdoor bar. Netflix on the TVs and beach towels provided. A chill spot when traveling through California
I recently stayed in a motel room, and the experience was a mixed bag, to say the least. At $400 a night, I was expecting a bit more, but the place felt like a revamped motel . While the rooms needed a bit of tender loving care, the lack of soundproofing between rooms was a noticeable issue (grab ear plugs at the front desk). If you not a diamond member, be prepared to pay $3 for a bottle of water. Breakfast is not included and food is overpriced but there are lots of cafés in the near by plazas. ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE. The front desk was absolutely amazing. My feet were hurting and I asked if they had any slippers and unfortunately they didn’t. After about 30 minutes, the man from the front desk came up to me and told me the manger had gotten slippers for me from a cvs. I was so relived and i couldn’t believe 1) they remembered 2) went out of their way to get me slippers. Amazing Thank you so much to the manger and the front desk men that helped me. I can’t thank you guys enough!
