I stayed at The Dewey with family and friends for a small reunion. Having this gilded age house to ourselves was transporting, like being in an episode of Downton Abby. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The common rooms are historical, elegant, bright and beautifully appointed, with views of the Berkshires. We came looking for peace and quite and country charm. We were not disappointed. Thank you for letting me play the baby grand piano in the living room. Cheers to the village of Lenox for maintaining such a beautiful, clean and peaceful town. Looking forward to another visit.
A short drive from Kripalu and Tanglewood, this lovely historic home that has been turned into an inn is a welcoming and comfortable retreat. Our stay included a lovely continental breakfast in the dining room, and we made use of the parlor room, which has several comfortable seating options as well as games and books.
Everything was absolutely great. We had a wonderful time. The only thing I might suggest is maybe at the continental breakfast you would have a warm dish like scrambled eggs along with sausage links. That would be a nice addition to your continental breakfast but otherwise everything else was wonderful.
