Was a nice park until the city trash started heading up there. Signs vandalized, drug usage, dirt bikes ect. Had a sign in the middle of the lot that got ran over never replaced.
I was a member from 1968 till 1978 and it not only taught me to scan the skys,but to work as a team member on projects I would have rather not been doing. I loved it. Personally LVAAS helped me improve my leadership skills and see the universe with new eyes or 1 big eye. The community is a better,more unique place because of it.
