As a patient, I was fit and healthy and only 35 years old, and was scheduled for a basic ligament repair surgery to help stabilize a small instability in my left ankle. Had a hardware removal surgery by Dr. Won. He butchered the surgery, breaking my leg with no medical reason for doing so. Two other surgeons have reviewed what happened and stated that there was no good explanation for why he went about the surgery the way he did. Butcher with a good bedside manner. Avoid at all costs.
I had a hip replacement with Dr Won in March. From my first visit with him, he made me feel safe and reassured. He is such a wonderful surgeon and human. I suffered for many years with the pain, and lack of mobility. Thankfully I am a new person now, pain free and enjoying life again. Have no hesitation about being under the care of Dr Won, you are in the safest hands. Also thank you to the kind staff who work in Dr Won rooms, they are all wonderful.
