I am extremely disappointed with the level of care at Layo Centre. My appointment with Dr. Famuyide lacked basic professionalism and empathy. She was completely inattentive, dismissed the details of my concerns, and provided nothing but superficial advice. The physical exam was rushed, highly uncomfortable, and treated as a mere formality rather than a proper medical evaluation. I left the clinic feeling dismissed and humiliated. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone seeking serious or compassionate medical care.
I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THE LAYO CENTRE. I believe the doctor, the nurses and the receptionist have a genuine disregard for both their profession and the people they see. It is hard to pinpoint what it is, but I think unless you are affluent, they genuinely don't care. My doctor sent them a referral in May 2026, I called them so many times left so many messages, only for them to tell me that they never received anything. I am disappointed in this clinic. I've been going here for a few years for Pap Tests, as Dr. Famuyide told me I should be coming to see her once a year for the next 10 years to make sure my CIN 3 does not reoccur, due to having had a LEEP to remove pre-cancerous cells on my cervix in 2020. I came here for my very first Pap smear, and unfortunately it was a very upsetting experience. I saw Dr. Famuyide. As this was my first Pap smear, I expected some explanation of what the procedure would involve and what I might feel. Instead, I was just told to undress and get on the table. I wasn’t walked through the procedure before or during it, which left me feeling very anxious. The appointment felt rushed.
