Please hire Michael at the beginning of any case and you’ll be fine. I know Michael doesn’t do dependency cases any more but I am sure he could be persuaded on my recommendation, but please hire him before the 72-hour hearing if you can and certainly before any mediation or trial hearing. It is important to hit the ground running in such proceedings and you need a private attorney to have the best shot of getting concessions from the DCFS.
