The man is a back stabbing con artist. He failed to show up to court dates but then charges you for having to go back to a judge and get new dates where he won't be available anyhow. He also charges you for the phone calls he then has to make to the other attorney to reschedule dates he missed. He then Bill's you for the letter he's legally obligated to send you to notify you of the court date changes. He never answered his phones or called back when messages where left. Custody, negotiations, Forcing compliance with an order. I have used Doug on multiple deals over the last decade. All of them ended favorably and his fees were usually on the lower side of what was estimated.
