I called Mr lempert from Washington state prior to hiring him and discussed my case and price ahead of time. When I came down to the jail I had my girlfriend call him and he wanted 700.00 just to come and ask me the same questions we discussed up in Washington. He had forgotten everything we talked about just a week prior. That's the only time in over six months that we discussed the case. This is a review from a 20 years ago, take it for what it is worth. I hired them to defend me on a felony marijuana charge. The charge was HS 11359, intent to sell marijuana. The initial Public Defender had told me that I would have to plea guilty to a felony and would get no additional jail time, only what I had already served and community service followed by two years formal probation.
