I'm glad I took second opinion – Reviews I'm glad I took a second opinion I initially had a different attorney handle my L1 case and once I received my visa and came to the US, I was advised to transfer to a H1B visa. I decided to get a second opinion and booked an appointment at Sherin's office for a consultation. I was quite rightly advised that my L1 visa is better than a H1 and I should stick to it and apply for an extension. I decided to use the services of Thawer Law and I now have a two year extension. Great work.
My wife has a greencard now – I am a United States Citizen. I married my Nepali wife who overstayed on her F-1 student visa.Not only Ms. Sherin Thawer prepared the I-130 petition for my wife, she also prepped us and came with us for the interview. Thanks to Sherin my wife now has a greencard within a month . =)
Refugee from Iraq – I am from Iraq . I had an approval on my refugee status with USCIS way back in 2003. USCIS was just sitting on my adjustment of status request and they won't give me a greencard. A friend suggested that i meet Ms. Thawer and so i did. Ms. Thawer filed a complaint against all the concerned agencies including ICE and DHS . Sherin Is agrassive but We need this – I am to have been deport for some criminal actions that I do not do. Because she have a good knowing of the law and the peoples in the law she have gave me more chance in America. She save me from deport and she save me from the jail and my family can stay to. Dis people who say otherthings from Sherin dont know she is very good and have save my life and the life of my family. If I go to Pakistan I have no life no more. She save me and I have my children to raise in America.
Great , straightforward lawyer who gets the job done... ! – I am on H1B . I met my wife in US . She is a US Citizen. We married and went to Sherin to file my greencard papers. Sherin collected all the necessary documents from us and sent our petition to USCIS. Within a month we got the interview and biometrics notices. Sherin personally helped us with the the interview preparation so even the interview was a breeze . I am now waiting for my Greencard to come in the mail . Unscrupulous and dirty - gives attornies a bad name – Sherin no doubt has a good understanding of the law, as she is very good at manipulating it. She operates with no moral or ethical lines, and isn't afraid to "play dirty" to win. If you have any principals, even a solid victory in court will leave you feeling like you lost out has a human being. Got my GC after i changed jobs – My employer filed for my I-140 which was approved . I had a tiff with my employer and changed jobs. I assumed my GC processing was over. Heard Sherin Thawer's ad on Funasia radio.Went to meet her in person. She patiently heard my story.
